성령의 열매를 맺는 자녀 되게 하소서
 
우리 아이를 심으시고 자라게 하시는 하나님 아버지, 우리 자녀들이 무성한 잎을 지니면서 성령의 열매를 맺어가는 신앙을 갖게 하옵소서.
 
예수님께서 우리를 사랑하셨듯이 친구와 이웃을 사랑하는 열매을 맺게 하시고, 고통스럽고 힘든 상황에서도 하나님을 바라보며 기뻐하는 희락의 열매를 맺게 하시고, 다툼과 싸움이 있을 때 먼저 용서하고 사과하는 화평의 열매 맺게 하시고, 어려움 속에서도 하나님의 인도를 신뢰하고 오래 참는 열매를 맺게 하시고, 타인의 시선을 의식하지 않고도 선한 마음을 베푸는 자비의 열매를 맺게 하시고, 말과 행실을 다듬어 사람들에게 친절하게 대하는 양선의 열매를 맺게 하시고, 주님께서 부탁하신 것을 신실하게 지켜나가는 충성의 열매 맺게 하시고, 비록 적이라도 함부로 하지 않고 온화한 인격으로 이길 수 있는 온유의 열매 맺게 하시고, 쾌락에 빠지지 않고 자신을 옳은 길로 이끌어가는 절제의 열매를 맺게 하옵소서.
 
우리 자녀가 맺은 성령의 열매들이 자신을 위한 것이 될 뿐 아니라 또 하나의 새싹을 틔우는 씨앗이 되길 소망합니다.

Let us become children who bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, who plants our children and makes them grow, help our children grow into lush leaves and have the faith to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Let us bear the fruit of loving our friends and neighbors just as Jesus loved us; let us bear the fruit of joy in looking at God even in painful and difficult situations; let us bear the fruit of peace by first forgiving and apologizing when there are quarrels and fights; Lord, help us to trust in God's guidance and bear long-suffering fruit, to bear the fruit of mercy by showing a good heart without being conscious of the gaze of others, to refine our words and actions and to bear the fruit of kindness by being kind to people, Lord. Please help me bear the fruit of loyalty by faithfully keeping what You have asked me to do, help me bear the fruit of meekness that allows me to overcome even enemies with a gentle personality without acting carelessly, and help me bear the fruit of self-control that leads me to the right path without falling into pleasure.

We hope that the fruits of the Holy Spirit that our children bear will not only be for themselves, but also become seeds that will sprout another sprout.
