학령기 자녀의 인지가 건강하게 발달하게 하소서
 
한 사람 한 사람을 신묘막측하게 디자인하게 하신 하나님, 자녀를 하나님의 최고의 작품으로 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다.
 
자녀가 하나님께 사랑받는 자임을 기억하게 하여 주시고 남들과의 경쟁 속에, 비교 속에 자존감을 잃지 않게 하여 주옵소서.
 
체계적이고 논리적인 사고가 가능해 지는 이 시기에 학교에서 배우는 학업을 통해 사고의 확장이 일어나기를 원합니다.
 
원인과 결과에 대한 이해와 분류하고 서열하는 사고의 확장 등은 하나님께서 만드신 창조섭리임을 압니다.
 
그러나 여전히 자신의 경험 속에서 이해하는 자녀에게 추상적인 사고, 가설 안에서의 사고가 어려움을 인정하고 자녀의 발달에 맞게 학업을 제안하는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
인지 구조에서 벗어나 선행학습은 오히려 자녀에게 해가 됨을 알고, 불안감을 내려놓고 자녀의 속도에 맞게 사고하고 확장하는 즐거움을 제공하는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
부모의 넉넉한 품으로 인해 아이가 하나님의 눈으로 세상을 바라보며 하나님의 지혜로 세상을 분별할 줄 아는 자가 되게 하여 주옵소서.

May the cognitive development of school-age children be healthy

God, who has mysteriously designed each and every person, thank you for making children the best creations of God.

Please let children remember that they are loved by God, and do not lose self-esteem in competition with others or comparison.

I hope that during this period when systematic and logical thinking is possible, they will expand their thinking through the academic studies they learn at school.

I know that understanding cause and effect and the expansion of thinking that classifies and ranks are God’s creative providence.

However, please let parents acknowledge the difficulty of abstract thinking and thinking within hypotheses for children who still understand through their own experiences, and suggest academics that are suitable for their child’s development.

Please let parents know that pre-learning outside of the cognitive structure is actually harmful to children, and let parents let go of anxiety and provide the joy of thinking and expanding at their own pace.

Please let children, through the generous embrace of their parents, see the world through God’s eyes and become people who can discern the world with God’s wisdom.
