(Isaiah 58:12 호위) Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Strees to Dwell In. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 통해 파괴된 기초를 다시 회복시키시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '크게 외치라 목소리를 외치지 말라'하시며 야곱의 집에 그들의 죄를 알리라고 하시며 그들이 날마다 주를 찾아 주의 길 알기를 즐거워하며 의로운 판단을 주께 구하며 하나님과 가까이하기를 즐거워한다고 했다. 또한 주께서 그들이 금식하는 날에 오락하며, 논쟁하며, 다투는 것을 책망하시며, 머리를 갈대같이 숙이고 굵은 베와 재를 펴는 것이 금식이 아니라, 흉악의 결박을 풀어주며 압제당하는 자를 자유케 하는 것이라 하고, 그들의 빛이 새벽같이 비치고 여호와의 영광의 그 뒤에 호위하며, 여호와께서 그 영혼을 만족키 하실 것이라 했다. 주를 찬양한다.

God is the one who restores the broken foundation through His children. In today's text, He says, "Cry aloud, do not shout with your voice," and tells Jacob's house to tell them their sins, and that they seek Him every day and delight to know His ways, and seek His righteous judgment, and delight to be near to God. He also rebukes them for their amusement, arguing, and fighting on the day of their fast, and says that bowing down their heads like a reed and spreading sackcloth and ashes is not fasting, but to loosen the bonds of wickedness and to let the oppressed go free, and that their light will break forth like the dawn, and the glory of the Lord will be their rear guard, and the Lord will satisfy their souls. Praise the Lord.
