스승의 날에 드리는 기도
 
하나님, 오늘 스승의 날에 교사들을 위해서 기도할 수 있도록 인도하시니 감사합니다.
 
먼저 우리 스승이신 예수님을 생각해봅니다.
 
진리를 가르치기에 주저함이 없으셨고, 사랑 가득한 마음과 눈길로 연약한 사람을 민망히 여기시며 고쳐 주시고 싸매어 주셨던 예수님, 그 예수님처럼 교사의 직분을 감당하는 신실한 교사들을 이 땅에 세워주옵소서.
 
교사의 사명이 소중한 것임을 알아 충성스럽게 감당하게 하시고 자라나는 생명들을 가르치는 데 부족함이 없도록 전문성을 채워 주옵소서.
 
날로 교육의 현장이 피폐하다는 소식을 많이 듣게 되는 이때에 가르침에 헌신하고 배움에 열정을 가지며 사람을 소중히 여기는 교사들이 일어나도록 하시고 교육의 회복을 일으키는 교육의 주체가 되게 하옵소서.
 
학교와 교회에 교사들을 위해 지원할 수 있는 여건과 환경을 열어주옵소서.
 
선생님을 더 많이 존경하는 우리 가정이 되게 하옵소서.

Prayer on Teacher's Day

God, we thank you for leading us to pray for teachers today on Teacher’s Day.

First, let’s think about our teacher, Jesus.

Jesus, who had no hesitation in teaching the truth, and with a heart and eyes full of love, took pity on the weak, healed them, and bound them up. Please raise up faithful teachers on this earth who can fulfill the duties of a teacher like Jesus.

Please help me understand that my mission as a teacher is precious and carry it out faithfully, and fill me with the expertise I need to teach growing lives.

At a time when we are hearing more and more news that the field of education is in ruins, please help teachers who are devoted to teaching, passionate about learning, and who value people arise, and let them become the subjects of education that bring about the restoration of education.

Please open the conditions and environment for schools and churches to provide support for teachers.

Please help us become a family that respects teachers more.

I pray in Jesus name. amen.
