2월 첫날의 기도
 
하나님, 새로운 달 2월을 맞이하게 하시니 감사합니다.
 
늘 함께하리라 약속하신 임마누엘의 주님, 2월에도 우리 부부와 자녀에게 함께 하옵소서.
 
하나님이 우리 가족의 목자가 되어 주셔서 언제나 부족함이 없었음을 고백합니다.
 
푸른 풀밭, 쉴만한 물가로 인도하여 주시고 우리 가족의 영혼을 소생시키시며 의의 길로 인도해 주셨습니다.
 
하나님, 혹시나 우리 가족이 어려움 가운데 있을지라도 주의 지팡이와 막대기로 인도하심을 믿습니다.
 
어려움과 고통 중에서도 우리의 잔을 넘치게 채우시고, 결국에는 풍성한 잔치상을 차려 주실 것을 믿습니다.
 
하나님의 선하시고 인자하신 품 안에 우리 가족이 머물러 살게 하옵소서.
 
우리의 가정, 교회, 학교, 그리고 사회에도 하나님의 신실하신 섭리가 동일하게 임하기를 기도합니다.
 
새 학기를 앞둔 이 땅의 자녀들에게도 새로운 마음과 정직한 영을 부어 주옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Prayer for the First Day of February

God, thank you for allowing us to enter the new month of February.

Lord Emmanuel, who promised to be with us always, please be with us, our couple, and our children in February as well.

I confess that God has been the shepherd of our family and has never lacked anything.

He has led us to green pastures and still waters, revived our family’s souls, and guided us on the path of righteousness.

God, I believe that you will guide us with your rod and staff even when our family is in difficulty.

I believe that you will fill our cups to overflowing even in difficulties and pain, and in the end, you will prepare a bountiful feast.

Please let our family live in the good and loving embrace of God.

I pray that God’s faithful providence will be equally present in our homes, churches, schools, and society.

Please pour a new heart and an honest spirit on the children of this land who are about to start a new school year.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
