(8:12~13) Then Solomon spoke: "The LORD said He would dwell in the dark cloud. I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever."

Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee after completing the construction of the temple and royal palace of the Lord in twenty years.
(10:9) Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the LORD has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteosness."
In chapter 10, when the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon's fame, she brought spices and a great deal of gold and precious stones on her donkey to test him with a difficult problem, but Solomon answered all that and did not know anything. When Queen Sheba saw Solomon's palace and the seats of her servants, she was greatly moved and blessed the Lord God. In addition, Hiram, who had brought gold from Orville, brought sandalwood and jewels with many ships, and the king made the railings of the temple and palace of the Lord with sandalwood, and made harps and loquats. The weight of Solomon's income was six hundred sixty-six talents of gold and six hundred shekels of gold in each shield.
(11:38) Then it shall be, if you heed all that I command you, walk in My ways, and do what is right in My sight, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as My servant David did, then I will be with you and build for you an enduring house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.
In chapter 11, King Solomon loved many women besides Pharaoh's daughter, and had seven hundred concubines, and three hundred concubines, and the women turned his heart to follow other gods. Solomon built a high place for Chemosh and Moloch, and turned his heart away from the God of Israel, so God was angry with him and said that he would take the kingdom and give it to his servants. He also raised Hadad to become an enemy of Solomon, and also raised Reson to become an enemy of Solomon, and he went to Damascus and became king. Also, Jeroboam son of Nebat raised his hand against the king, and he was a great warrior and oversaw the affairs of the Joseph family, but he met Ahijah the prophet on the road, and when he heard that he would become king of the ten tribes, he fled to Egypt.
(12:4)"Your father made our yoke heavy; now therefore, lighten the burdensome service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put on us, and we will serve you."
In chapter 12, Solomon's son Rehoboam went to Shechem, for Israel to make him king. Jeroboam escaped from Solomon and fled to Egypt, but a crowd sent to call him. Jeroboam and the whole Israelite congregation asked Rehoboam to lighten the heavy yoke that Solomon had put on, but Rehoboam ignored the opinions of the old men in Solomon's life and discussed with the younger people. He said it would make it heavier. So Israel asked what they had with David, and each went back to his tent. Jeroboam became king of Israel.
(13:6) Then the king answered and said to the man of God, "Please entreat the favor of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me."

The Lord told the man of God not to eat bread or drink water, but to go back to the way he had come, but when he heard the false prophecy of an old prophet living in Bethel, he ate and drank in the house, and the Lord struck him, and he was bitten by a lion.
