성경적 권위를 가진 부모 되게 하소서(유아기 자녀를 둔 부모를 위한 기도)
 
우리 가족을 믿음 안에서 자라게 하시는 하나님, 감사를 드립니다.
 
부모인 저도, 사랑하는 자녀도 오늘까지 지키시고 자라게 하여 주신 것은 모두 하나님의 은혜입니다.
 
하나님, 이제 막 또래 집단 속에서 새로운 사회관계를 시작한 자녀가 친구들과의 마찰이 생기기도 하고 자기 의사표현도 확실하여 고집을 부리거나 뗄를 쓸 때도 있습니다.
 
그 때 중재자인 부모로서 강압적으로 자녀에게 다가가지 않게 하시고, 성경적인 권위로 서는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 자라면서 부모의 마음에 들지 않을 때 내 욕심대로, 부모의 힘을 사용하여 고치려하지 말고, 먼저 그 모습을 인정하게 하옵소서.
 
자녀에게 권위를 형성하는 시기인만큼 말씀으로 권위를 세우게 하시고 말씀에 토대를 두고 양육하는 부모가 되게 하소서.
 
주님, 저의 감정과 생각이 앞서려 할 때마다 아이의 주인이 하나님임을 분명히 알게 하시고, 우리 부부는 다만 청지기가 되게 하여 주옵소서.
 
말씀의 권위로 살아가는 우리 부부를 통해 자녀도 말씀 안에서 순복하게 하소서.

Let us become parents with biblical authority (Prayer for parents of young children)

Thank you, God, for helping our family grow in faith.

It is all God's grace that has protected me as a parent and my beloved children and allowed them to grow up to this day.

God, there are times when children who have just started a new social relationship within their peer group may have friction with their friends, and there are times when they are stubborn or withdrawn due to their lack of confidence in expressing themselves.

At that time, as parents who are mediators, please do not forcefully approach your children, but help us become parents who stand with biblical authority.

When children grow up and do not like their parents, please help them acknowledge that first, rather than trying to fix it according to their own desires or by using their parents' power.

As this is the time to form authority for children, help them establish authority through the Word and become parents who raise their children based on the Word.

Lord, whenever my emotions and thoughts try to take precedence, please help me clearly know that God is the owner of our child, and help me and my husband be just stewards.

Through our husband and wife who live by the authority of the Word, may our children also obey the Word.

I pray in Jesus name. amen.
