성품을 등한시하는 가정의 교육풍토를 변화시켜 주소서
 
하나님, 지금까지는 자녀의 삶이 어른이 되기 위한, 대학을 가기 위한, 성공한 인생을 위한 준비 기간이라고 생각하였습니다.
 
힘들어하는 자녀를 보면서도 참고 견디라고만 다그친 우리의 모습을 봅니다.
 
어떤 사람으로 살아가느냐보다 오직 공부만 잘하면 자녀 삶의 모든 것이 해결된다고 생각하였던 부모 된 우리를 용서하여 주옵소서.
 
자녀가 좋은 성품을 가지고 있어도 세상이 원하는 기준에 미달되면 성에 차지않아 다그치고 평가절하했던 모습을 돌이킵니다.
 
이제는 잘못된 길에서 돌이켜 무엇보다 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 성품을 물려주는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
우리 마음 가운데 여유를 주시고, 세상의 기준이 아닌 하나님의 기준을 확고히 자리 잡게 하셔서 자녀가 바른 성품으로 하나님께 칭찬받는 것을 기뻐하는 부모가 되게 하소서.
 
하나님께서 자녀에게 허락하신 아름다운 성품이 무엇인지 관찰하게 하시고, 온전한 사람이 되어서 그리스도의 완전한 충만함에 이르기까지 자라나게 하옵소서.

Please change the educational climate in families that neglect character.

God, until now, I thought that my child's life was a period of preparation for becoming an adult, going to college, and leading a successful life.

Even when we see our children struggling, we see ourselves urging them to persevere.

Please forgive us as parents who thought that everything in our children's lives would be solved if they studied well rather than what kind of person they lived.

Even if a child has a good character, if he or she falls short of the standards the world wants, he or she will return to the way he or she used to criticize and devalue the child out of frustration.

Please help us now turn from our wrong path and become parents who pass on a character that pleases God more than anything else.

Please give us space in our hearts and firmly establish God's standards, not the world's standards, so that we can become parents who are happy that their children are praised by God for their upright character.

Let us observe the beautiful character that God has granted to our children, and help them grow into perfect people and reach the fullness of Christ.
