Selah 하나님은 주의 자녀의 피난처가 되시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '하나님은 우리의 피난처시요 힘이시니 환난중에 만날 큰 도움이시라'하며 땅이 변하든지 산이 흔들려 바다 가운데 빠지든지 바닷물이 솟아나고 뛰놀든지 '우리는 두려워하지 아니하리로다' 고백하고 았다. 또한 한 시내가 나뉘어 흘러 하나님의 성, 지존하신 이의 성소를 기쁘게 한다고 하며 하나님이 성 중에 계시매 성이 흔들리지 않으며 새벽에 하나님이 도우실 것이라고 하며 '만군의 여호와께서 우리와 함께 하시니 야곱의 하나님은 우리의 피난처시로다' 하며 주께서 땅끝까지 전쟁을 쉬게 하시며 창을 끊으며 수레를 불사르신다고 했다. 주의 기사와 능력을 찬양한다.
