10월 첫날의 기도
 
더 높은 하늘과 깊어 가는 가을을 창조하신 하나님, 국화꽃이 만발하고 코스모스가 한들거리는 들판에 하나님께서 가꿔 주신 열매가 가득합니다.
 
주님의 은혜로 수확의 때를 맞이한 10월에도 우리를 향한 주님의 사랑은 하늘같이 높고 우리를 구원하신 그 은혜는 더욱 깊어지길 소원합니다.
 
맑은 날이 지속되고 자연을 벗하기 좋은 가을날, 하늘을 바라보며 주님을 묵상하고, 주님의 창조섭리와 은혜에 더욱 감사하는 저와 우리 가정, 우리 민족이 될 수 있도록 하옵소서.
 
하나님, 여전히 교육의 영역에서 불거져 나오는 여러 아픔과 애통의 소리, 안타까운 질책과 날카로운 지적이 가득합니다.
 
그 속에서 하나님이 그토록 원하시는 교육이 일어나게 하시고 바른 기틀을 확립하는 십자가의 정신으로 알곡이 되고, 썩어져 가는 밀알로서 선한 역할을 감당하는 교회와 믿음의 그리스도인이 많아지게 하옵소서.
 
여름철 이야기를 고스란히 안고 직면하면서 생명을 잇고 속을 채운 열매처럼 풍파 많은 교육 속에서 말할 수 없는 하나님의 사랑과 은혜로 주님이 원하시는 교육의 알곡이 채워지게 하옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Prayer for the first day of October

God, who created the higher sky and the deepening autumn, the fields where chrysanthemums are in full bloom and cosmos flowers are swaying are filled with the fruits that God has nurtured.

In October, when the harvest season has arrived by the grace of the Lord, I hope that the Lord’s love for us will be as high as the sky and the grace that saved us will deepen even more.

On an autumn day with clear days and good for enjoying nature, please let me, my family, and our people look up at the sky and meditate on the Lord, and be more thankful for the Lord’s providence and grace.

God, there are still many voices of pain and sorrow, regretful reproaches, and sharp criticisms that come out in the field of education.

In the midst of all this, please let the education that God so desires take place, and let there be many churches and Christians of faith who become grains with the spirit of the cross that establishes the right foundation, and who play a good role as decaying grains of wheat.

As we face the story of summer and embrace it, let us be filled with the grain of education that the Lord desires, with God's indescribable love and grace in the midst of the stormy education, like a fruit that has survived and filled its insides.
