Isaiah 25:7~8 찬송

(Isaiah 25:7~8 찬송) And He will destroy on the mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 모든 눈물을 씻기시며 수치를 제하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 자신의 하나님이시며 자기가 주를 높이고 주의 이름을 찬송한다고 하며 주께서 성읍을 돌무더기로 만드시고 견고한 성읍을 황폐하게 하시고 외인의 궁성이 영원히 건설되지 못하게 하셨다고 하고, 주는 포학자의 기세와 성벽을 치는 것 같을 때에 빈궁한 자의 요새가 되셨다고 하며, 만군의 여호와께서 그 산에서 만민을 위하여 기름진 것과 오래 저장하였던 포도주로 연회를 베푸실 것이고, 사망을 영원히 멸하시며 여호와께서 모든 얼굴에서 눈물을 씻기시고 자기 백성의 수치를 제하실 것이라 했다. 주를 찬양한다.

God is the One who wipes away all the tears of His children and takes away their shame. In today’s text, it says that He is His God and that He exalts Him and praises His name. He has reduced cities to heaps of stones and fortified cities to ruins; He has made foreign palaces never to be built. He has become a stronghold for the poor when the tyrant strikes a wall. The Lord of hosts will prepare on His mountain a feast of rich food, a banquet of wine aged for a long time. He will swallow up death forever. The Lord will wipe away tears from all faces and take away the shame of His people. Praise the Lord.
