청년기 자녀의 신앙이 건강하게 성장하게 하소서
 
하나님, 청년기를 맞이한 자녀가 의존적 신앙에서 이제는 하나님 앞에 스스로 바로 서는 신앙인으로 자라기를 원합니다.
 
스스로 서야 하는 고통과 아픔을 품어내게 하시고 하나님이 허락하신 성찰하고 반성하는 능력을 통해 신앙과 인생의 도약을 이루게 하옵소서.
 
지금까지 의존하고 있던 것들로부터 스스로 서야 하지만 신앙 안에서 또한 세상 속에서 스스로 서기 어려운 환경 앞에서 좌절하거나 무너지지 않도록 지켜주시고 자신만의 신앙의 태도와 삶의 모습, 하나님 앞의 헌신자로 안전하게 성장하도록 하나님이 이끌어 주옵소서.
 
비판과 성찰이 늘어나면서 교회의 전통과 신앙에 회의를 품기도 하고 교회의 약한 모습에 저항도 하겠지만 그것 때문에 교회를 떠나거나 신앙을 잃어버리는 것이 아니라 더 성숙하게 자라기를 원합니다.
 
또한 모든 것을 비판적으로 사고하는 과정이 더 깊은 신앙의 색을 만들어가는 과정이 되게 하옵소서.
 
오히려 반성과 성찰의 에너지와 힘이 하나님과 교회를 향하게 하시고 성경에 대한 건강한 숙고로 이어져 다음 단계의 신앙이 잘 자리할 토대가 형성되게 하옵소서.

May the faith of my adolescent children grow healthily

God, I want my adolescent children to grow from dependent faith to faith that can now stand upright before God.

Please let them endure the pain and suffering of having to stand up for themselves, and let them make a leap forward in faith and life through the ability to reflect and introspect that God has allowed.

They must stand up for themselves from things they have been dependent on, but please protect them from being frustrated or collapsing in situations where it is difficult to stand up for themselves in faith and in the world, and please lead them safely to grow as devotees before God with their own attitudes of faith and lifestyle.

As criticism and introspection increase, they may have doubts about the church’s traditions and faith, and may resist the church’s weaknesses, but I want them to grow more maturely rather than leaving the church or losing their faith because of that.

Also, may the process of thinking critically about everything become a process of creating a deeper color of faith.

Rather, may the energy and power of reflection and introspection be directed toward God and the church, and may it lead to healthy reflection on the Bible, forming a foundation for the next stage of faith.
