(Isaiah 64:9~10 기억) Do not be furious O LORD, Nor remember iniquity forever; Indeed, please look-we all are Your people! Your holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 바라보시며 기억하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 하늘을 가르고 강림하시고 불이 물을 끓음같게 하시어 이방나라들도 주 앞에 떨게 하시길 구하며, 주께서 우리가 생각지 못한 두려운 일을 행할 때 산들이 주 앞에서 진동하였다고 하고 주 외에 자기를 앙망하는 자를 위해 이런 일을 행한 신을 귀로 들은 자도, 눈으로 본 자도 없다고 했다. 또한 자신들이 범죄하므로 주께서 진동하셨다고 하며 자신들은 다 더러운 옷 같고, 잎사귀같이 시들므로 '죄악이 바람같이 우리를 몰아가나이다' 했다. 또한 스스로 분발하여 주를 붙잡는 자가 없다고 하며, 주께서 자신들의 죄악을 영원히 기억지 마시길 구했다. 아멘
God is the One who looks upon and remembers His children. In today's text, they pray that the Lord will tear the heavens and descend, and that fire will boil the water, so that the nations will tremble before Him. They say that when the Lord does something terrible that we do not think of, the mountains tremble before Him. No one has heard with the ear, no one has seen with the eyes a God other than Him who does such things for those who wait for Him. They also say that the Lord has trembled because they have sinned, and that they are all like filthy rags, withering like a leaf, and 'our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.' They also say that no one is able to stir up themselves to hold on to the Lord, and they pray that the Lord will never remember their iniquities. Amen.
