(Jeremiah 9:24 자랑) But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight" says the LORD. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 통하여 사랑과 정의를 땅에 행하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '죽임을 당한 딸 내 백성을 위하여 주야로 울리로다'라고 하며 광야에서 나그네가 머물 곳을 얻는다면 자기 백성을 떠나갈 것이라 하고 그들은 활을 당김 같이 혀를 놀려 거짓을 말하며 땅에서 강성하니 진실하지 않다고 했다. 또한 그들이 각기 이웃을 속이며 진실을 말하지 아니한다고 하며 주를 알기를 싫어한다고 하고, 그러므로 예루살렘은 무더기로 만들고 승냥이 굴이 되게 하겠다고 하며, 그 백성에게 쑥을 먹이며 독한 물을 마시게 하고 진멸되기까지 칼을 보낼 것이라 했다. 또한 지혜로운 자는 그 지혜를 자랑하지 말고 주를 아는 것으로 자랑할 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the one who practices love and justice on earth through His children. In today's text, it says, "I will weep day and night for the daughter of my people, who has been slain." He says that if a stranger finds a place to stay in the wilderness, he will leave his people. He says that they bend their tongues like a bow and speak lies, and that they are strong in the land, and they are not truthful. He also says that they deceive each other and do not speak the truth, and that they refuse to know the Lord. Therefore, he says that he will make Jerusalem a heap of rubble and a den of jackals, and he will feed its people wormwood and make them drink poisonous water and send the sword until they are completely destroyed. He also says that the wise will not boast of their wisdom, but will boast of their knowledge of the Lord. Amen.
