(Jeremiah 13:23 띠) Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots? Then may you also do good who are accustomed to do evil. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 죄악을 씻으시며 삶의 저주를 풀어주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 예레미야에게 '베 띠를 사서 네 허리에 띠고 물에 적시지 말라'하심에 그가 여호와의 말씀대로 하며 그 띠를 유브라데 바위틈에 감추고 여러날만에 찾았는데 띠가 썩어서 쓸 수 있게 되었다. 이에 주께서 유다의 교만과 예루살렘 큰 교만을 이같이 썩게 할 것이라 하시며, 띠가 사람의 허리에 속함 같이 이스라엘과 유다 온 집이 주의 이름과 명예와 영광이 되게 하려 했으나, 그들이 듣지 않았다고 하고 주께서 다윗의 왕위에 앉은 자들을 포도주로 가득 차게 할 것이라 하며, 겸손하라 했다. 아멘

God washes away the sins of His children and removes the curses of life. In today's text, the Lord told Jeremiah, "Buy a linen belt and put it around your waist; do not wet it in water." He did as the Lord said and hid the belt in a cleft of the rock of the Euphrates. After many days, he found it and found that it had rotted away and was ready to be used. So the Lord said that he would ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem, so that, as a belt is attached to a man's waist, the whole house of Israel and Judah would become the name and the glory of the Lord, but they would not listen. The Lord said that he would fill those who sit on the throne of David with wine and told them to be humble. Amen.
