(Jeremiah 26:13 순종) Now therefore, amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; then the LORD will relent concerning the doom that He has pronouned against you. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 회개의 기도를 들으시고 긍휼히 여기는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 여호야김이 다스리기 시작한 때부터 여호와께로부터 이 말씀이 임하여 그들이 그 악한 길에서 주의 말씀을 듣고 뜻을 돌이켜라 하시며 주께서 그들에게 선지자들을 꾸준히 보냈으나 그들이 순종하지 아니함으로 그 성전을 모든 민족의 저주거리가 되게 할 것이라 하셨다. 또한 예레미야가 여호와의 말씀을 전할 때 제사장과 선지자가 그를 붙잡고 죽어야 할 것이라 하셨으나 예레미야가 자신의 여호와의 이름으로 예언하였다 하고 그들의 길과 행위를 고칠 것을 격려하자 고관과 백성이 그를 죽일 이유가 없다고 하고 그를 놓아주었다. 아멘

God is the one who hears the prayer of repentance of His children and is merciful. In today's text, from the beginning of Jehoiakim's reign, this word came from the Lord: "They must turn from their evil ways and listen to the word of the Lord." The Lord continued to send prophets to them, but they did not obey, so He would make the temple a curse to all peoples. Also, when Jeremiah delivered the word of the Lord, the priests and prophets seized him and said that he should be put to death, but when Jeremiah said that he had prophesied in the name of the Lord and encouraged them to change their ways and actions, the officials and the people said that there was no reason to put him to death and let him go. Amen.
