(Jeremiah 40:12 여름과일) then all the Jews returned out of all places where they had been driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah at Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer fruit in abundance. 하나님은 주의 자녀로 돌아와 살며 풍성함을 누리게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 사령관 느부사라단이 예루살렘과 유다의 포로를 바벨론으로 옮기는 중 예레미야도 잡혀 사슬로 결박되어 가는 중 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하였고 느부사라단이 예레미야의 사슬을 풀어주며 그가 원하는대로 갈 것이라 하고, 또한 바벨론 왕이 그 지역을 다스리기 위해 세운 그다랴에게로 가라고 하여 예레미야가 미스바에 있는 그다랴에게로 갔다. 또한 그다랴가 사람들에게 바벨론 왕을 섬기면 그들이 유익할 것이라 하매 그들이 마스바에서 여름과일과 기름을 많이 모으고 거하며 이스마엘, 요하난, 스라야 등이 돌아왔다. 아멘
