(Hosea 2:21~22 응락) “In that day I will respond,” declares the Lord—“I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth; and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, and they will respond to Jezreel. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 위하여 하늘의 풍성한 곡식과 먹을 것을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 호세아에게 어머니와 논쟁하라 하시며 그 얼굴에서 음란을 제하게 하고 그 유방 사이에서 음행을 제하라 하시고, 그렇지 않으면 그를 벌거벗겨 그 나던 날과 같이 하시며 광야같이 되게 할 것이라 하셨다. 또한 주께서 그의 자녀들을 긍휼히 여기지 아니할 것은 그들이 음란한 자식이기 때문이라 하시며 주께서 가시로 그 길을 막고 담을 쌓아 길을 찾지 못하게 하시고, 주께서 주의 곡식을 도로 찾고 그들의 벌거벗음을 가릴 양털과 삼을 빼앗을 것이며 그들이 바알을 섬긴 햇수만큼 그들에게 벌을 준 후 그를 타일러 거친 들로 데리고 가서 위로하고 주께서 그와 장가들 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who provides abundant grain and food from heaven for His children. In today's text, the Lord tells Hosea to argue with his mother, telling her to remove the prostitution from her face and the sexual immorality from between her breasts, or He will strip her naked and make her as naked as the day she was born, like the wilderness. Furthermore, He declares that He will not have mercy on His children, for they are prostitutes. He will block their paths with thorns and build a wall so they cannot find their way. He will take back His grain and take away the wool and flax that covered their nakedness. He will punish them for the years they served Baal. He will then admonish her, bring her into the wilderness, comfort her, and marry her. Amen.
