Hosea 11:9 긍휼

(Hosea 11:9 긍휼) I will not execute the fierceness of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim. For I am God, and not man, The Holy One in your midst; And I will not come with terror. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 위해 그 진노를 거두시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문애서는 이스라엘이 어렸을 때 주께서 사랑하여 애굽에서 불러내셨으며 선지자들이 그들을 부를 수록 그들은 점점 멀리하고 우상 앞에서 분향하였다고 하며, 에브라임을 주의 팔로 안았음에도 주께서 그들을 고치는줄 알지 못하였다 하시고, 주께서 사람의 줄 곧 사랑의 줄로 그들을 이끌었고, 그 목에서 멍에를 벗기는 자 같이 되었고 그들 앞에 먹을 것을 두었다 하셨다. 또한 에브라임에게 어찌 그들을 놓겠냐고 하시며 주께서 주의 맹렬한 진노를 나타내지 않을 것은 주께서 하나님이시기 때문이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who holds back His wrath for His children. In today's passage, the Lord loved Israel and called them out of Egypt when they were young. The more the prophets called them, the more they turned away, burning incense before idols. He embraced Ephraim with His arms, yet they did not know that He would heal them. He led them with human cords, with cords of love, like someone taking a yoke off their necks, and He placed food before them. He also said to Ephraim, "How can I let them go?" He said He would not unleash His fierce anger, for He is God. Amen.
