(Matthew 8:15~16 말씀) So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 하나님은 주의 자녀의 연약함과 질병을 담당하시고 치료하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 예수께서 산에서 내려오실 때 많은 무리가 따랐는데 한 나병환자가 나아와 절하며 '주여 원하시면 저를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있나이다'하매 예수께서 손을 내밀어 그에게 대시며 '내가 원하노니 깨끗함을 받으라'하시니 그 나병이 깨끗하여졌다. 또한 예수께서 가버나움에 들어가셨을 때 한 백부장이 나아와 간구하여 자신의 하인이 중풍병으로 몹시 괴로워한다고 했을 때 예수께서 직접 가셔서 고쳐주겠다고 했으나 백부장이 예수께서 오심을 감당치 못하겠다 하고 '말씀으로만 하옵소서'하자 예수께서 놀랍게 여기셨다. 아멘

God is the One who takes upon Himself the weaknesses and illnesses of His children and heals them. In today's passage, as Jesus was coming down from the mountain, a large crowd followed Him. A leper approached Him and knelt before Him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said, "be cleansed." And the leper was cleansed. Furthermore, when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him, begging him, saying, "Your servant is paralyzed and suffering greatly." Jesus offered to come and heal him, but the centurion refused to accept Jesus' presence and said, "Just say the word." Jesus was astonished. Amen.
