Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 섬겨주시고 자신의 아들을 보내주신 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 천국은 품꾼을 얻어 포도원에 들여보내려고 이른 아침에 나간 집주인과 같은데 제삼시에 장터에서 놀고있는 사람들을 들여보내고 육시와 구시에도, 제십일시에도 그와같이 하였지만, 모든 자들에게 한데나리온씩 주었고, 이에 먼저 온 자들이 원망하매 동일하게 주는 것이 주의 뜻이라 하시며 나중된 자로서 먼저될 자가 많다 하시고, 십자가를 향해 예루살렘으로 나아가는 예수님께 세배대의 아들들의 어머니가 와서 자기의 아들들을 주의 좌우편에 앉혀주시기를 구하매 이 자리를 아버지께서 예비하셨다 하시고 크고자 하는 자는 섬기는 자가 될 것이라 하셨다. 아멘

God is the one who serves His children and sent His Son. In today's text, the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. At the third hour, he let in those who were idle in the marketplace. He did the same at the sixth hour, the ninth hour, and the eleventh hour. Yet, he gave a denarius to each. But when the first complained, He said, "It is the Lord's will that the same should be given to them," and that many who are last will be first. As Jesus was being led to Jerusalem to be crucified, the mother of Zebedee's sons came to him and begged that her sons might sit at his right and left. He said, "The Father has prepared these places for you," and added, "Whoever wants to become great must be your servant." Amen.
