4월 첫날의 기도
 
우리 삶에 생기를 부어주시는 하나님!
 
온 세상에 봄의 활력이 넘치는 이때, 자연 만물 가운데 임하시는 주님의 섬세한 손길에 감사를 드립니다.
 
자세히 들여다볼 수 있는 예쁜 풀꽃과 목련꽃 그늘 아래서 주님을 더욱 깊이 알아가는 4월을 보내게 하옵소서.
 
온 세상 속에 가득한 봄의 활력처럼 교육의 영역에서도 생기 가득한 회복이 일어나게 하옵소서.
 
꽁꽁 언 땅처럼, 메말라 있는 대지처럼, 소망이 보이지 않는 이 땅의 왜곡된 교육 현실을 일구어 새 생명이 돋아나게 하옵소서.
 
학생과 학생이 서로 아껴주고 배려하며 우정을 쌓아가게 하시고, 교사와 교사가 서로 협력하는 배움과 나눔의 공동체가 되게 하시고 학교와 부모가 존중하며 인정하며 소통하는 교육의 주체가 되게 하옵소서.
 
부모와 교사, 사랑하는 우리의 아이들이 생기있는 교육 속에서 웃음 짓게 하옵소서.
 
4월에 주님이 원하시는 교육으로 한 걸음 더 나아가게 하옵소서.

Prayer for the First Day of April

God, who breathes life into our lives!

At this time when the whole world is overflowing with the vitality of spring, we give thanks for Your delicate touch present among all of nature.

May we spend this April getting to know You more deeply, under the shade of beautiful wildflowers and magnolia blossoms that we can look at closely.

Just as the vitality of spring fills the whole world, may a vibrant restoration take place in the realm of education as well.

May You cultivate the distorted educational reality of this land—where hope is invisible, like frozen ground and parched earth—so that new life may sprout.

May students cherish and care for one another, building friendships; may teachers become a community of learning and sharing that cooperates with one another; and may schools and parents become the agents of education who respect, acknowledge, and communicate with one another.

May parents, teachers, and our beloved children smile amidst vibrant education.

May we take another step forward in April toward the education You desire. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
