(Romans 11:19~20 풍성) You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in." Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 하나님은 주를 믿는 주의 자녀를 근원되신 예수님께 붙이시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 하나님이 자기 백성을 버리실 수 없다고 하며 자신도 아브라함에게서 난 자요 베냐민 지파라 하며 하나님이 머리이신 자기 백성을 버리지 아니하였음을 엘리야가 자기 백성 이스라엘을 고발하되 주께서 바알에게 무릎꿇지 아니한 칠천명을 남겨두었다는 말씀을 따라 보여주며 지금도 은혜로 택하심을 따라 남은자가 있다고 하였다. 또한 은혜로 된 것이면 행위로 말미암지 않음이라 하시고 이스라엘이 구원을 얻지 못하고 오직 택하심을 받은 자가 얻었고 나머지는 우둔하게 되었으며 그들의 넘어짐이 세상의 풍성함이 되었다고 했다. 아멘

God is the One who attaches His children who believe in Him to Jesus, the Source. In today's passage, Paul states that God cannot forsake His people. He identifies himself as a descendant of Abraham and of the tribe of Benjamin, demonstrating that God has not forsaken His people, who are the Head. He illustrates this by citing the scripture where Elijah accused His people Israel, yet the Lord spared seven thousand who had not bowed down to Baal. He further asserts that even now, there is a remnant chosen by grace. He also declares that if it is by grace, it is not by works; thus, Israel did not receive salvation, but only the elect did, while the rest were hardened, and their fall became the riches of the world. Amen.
