건강하게 떠나보내는 부모 되게 하소서(청년기 자녀를 둔 부모를 위한 기도)
 
자라게 하시는 하나님, 품 안에 있던 아이가 어느덧 성인이 되어 스스로 자신의 인생을 선택하고 책임지는 때가 되었음을 고백합니다.
 
언젠가 성인이 되고 내 품을 떠날 것이라 생각하였지만 막연했던 생각이 현실이 되니 또 두려움이 앞서는 것도 사실입니다.
 
더 이상 부모가 자녀의 삶에 개입할 수 없고, 기도로 지원할 뿐이니 아이 삶의 주인 되신 하나님께서 그 삶을 더 전적으로 붙들어 주옵소서.
 
또한 지금까지 자녀에게 어떤 부모였는지 스스로 모습을 돌아보고는 합니다.
 
이제 자녀를 독립시킬 준비하는 시기를 맞이하오니 그를 위하여 부모로서의 여정도 붙들어 주옵소서.
 
이제는 한 걸음 물러서서, 인생에 새로운 과제들을 계속 맞이하는 자녀에게 좋은 신앙의 선배로 다가갈 수 있는 부모 되게 하옵소서.
 
나의 삶의 주인 되신 하나님을 자녀에게 보여줌으로써 성인이 된 자녀가 자신의 삶의 주인도 하나님이심을 잊지 않고 흔들리더라도 한 걸음씩 걸어가는 삶 되게 하옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Let us be parents who leave in good health (Prayer for parents of adolescent children)

God who makes us grow, I confess that the child in her arms has become an adult and it is time for her to choose and take responsibility for her own life.

I thought that one day he would become an adult and leave my arms, but it is true that I was afraid as my vague thoughts became reality.

Since parents can no longer intervene in their children's lives and can only support them through prayer, please let God, who is the owner of their children's lives, support their lives more fully.

I also reflect on what kind of parent I have been to my children so far.

Now that we are preparing for our children to become independent, please support us in our journey as parents.

Now, please help me take a step back and become a parent who can approach my children as good seniors of faith as they continue to face new challenges in life.

By showing your children that God is the Lord of their lives, help your adult children to walk step by step even if they falter, without forgetting that God is the Lord of their lives.

I pray in the name of Jesus. amen.
