(Psalm 82:3~4 아들) Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked. 하나님은 가난한 자와 고아를 악인의 손에서 건지시는 주의 자녀의 보호자이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 하나님은 신들의 모임 가운데 서시며 그들 가운데서 재판하신다고 하시며 '너희가 불공평한 판단을 하며 악인의 낯 보기를 언제까지 하려느냐(셀라)'라고 하고 가난한 자와 고아를 위하여 판단하며 곤란한 자와 빈궁한 자에게 공의를 베풀고 그들을 구원하여 악인들의 손에서 건질 것이라고 하였ㄷ. 또한 '내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라'하였지만 그들이 사람처럼 죽고 고관의 하나같이 넘어진다고 하며, 주께서 모든 나라를 소유하시기 때문에 세상을 심판하시기를 구하였다. 아멘
