Our soul has escaped as a bird from the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 사냥꾼의 올무에서 벗어나게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 이스라엘이 이제 '여호와께서 우리편에 계시지 아니하셨더라면 우리가 어떻게 하였으랴'라고 말하였다고 하며 사람들이 그들을 치러 일어났을 때에 여호와께서 그들 편에 계시지 아니하셨더라면 노여움이 그들에게 맹렬하여 그들을 산채로 삼켰을 것이라고 하며 그 때에 물이 그들을 휩쓸고 시내가 그들 영혼을 삼켰을 것이며 넘치는 물이 그들을 삼켰을 것이라고 했다. 또한 '우리를 내주어 그들의 이에 씹히지 아니하게 하신 여호와를 찬송할지라도'하며 그들의 영혼이 사냥꾼의 올무에서 벗어난 새 같이 되었다고 했다. 아멘
