(Proverbs 9:10~11 생명) “The fear of the Lord  is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. 하나님은 주를 경외하는 주의 자녀에게 지혜와 장구한 생명을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 지혜가 그 집을 짓고 일곱기둥을 다듬고 짐승을 잡으며 포도주를 혼합해 상을 갖추고 자기 여종을 보내어 성중 높은 곳에서 불러 '너는 와서 내 식물을 먹으며 내 혼합한 포도주를 마시고 어리석음을 버리고 생명을 얻으라'하였다. 또한 거만한 자를 징계하는 자는 도리어 능욕을 받고 악인을 책망하는 자는 도리어  흠이 잡힌다고 하며 '지혜있는 자에게 교훈을 더하라 그가 더욱 지혜로워 질 것이요 의로운 사람을 가르치라 그 학식이 더하리라'하며 지혜로 말미암아 생명의 날이 많아질 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the one who gives wisdom and long life to His children who fear Him. In today's text, Wisdom built her house, hewed out its seven pillars, slaughtered animals, mixed wine, prepared a table, and sent her maidservant to call from the highest point of the city, "Come, eat my bread, and drink the wine I have mixed. Forsake foolishness and live." He also said that whoever corrects a mocker will receive shame, and whoever rebukes the wicked will be slandered. He also said, "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will become wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning." He said that through wisdom, the days of life will be many. Amen.
