(Proverbs 12:26~28 면류관) The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 공의로운 길을 가며 생명을 얻게 인도하는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 훈계를 좋아하는 자는 지식을 좋아하거니와 징계를 싫어하는 자는 짐승과 같다고 하며 선인은 은총을 받으나 악을 꾀하는 자는 정죄하는 자는 정죄하심을 받는다 했다. 또한 사람이 악으로 굳게 서지 못하지만 의인의 뿌리는 움직이지 않는다고 하며 어진 여인은 그 지아비의 뼈가 썩게 한다고 했다. 또한 의인의 생각은 정직하지만 악인의 도모는 속임이라 하고 정직한 자의 입은 사람을 구원하며 의인은 자기 가축의 생명을 돌보나 악인의 긍휼은 잔인이라 했다. 악인은 불의의 이익을 탐하지만 의인은 뿌리로 결실한다고 했다. 주의 지혜에 감사한다.

God is the one who guides His children to walk in the righteous path and gain life. In today's text, it says that those who love instruction love knowledge, but those who hate discipline are like beasts. It says that a good person receives grace, but those who plot evil will be condemned. It also says that a person cannot be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved. It also says that a virtuous woman causes her husband's bones to rot. It also says that the thoughts of the righteous are upright, but the plans of the wicked are deceit. It says that the mouth of the upright saves people, and the righteous care for the lives of their animals, but the compassion of the wicked is cruel. It says that the wicked covet the gain of unrighteousness, but the root of the righteous produces fruit. I am thankful for the wisdom of the Lord.
