(Proverbs 16:23~24 화목) The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 마음에 지혜를 주셔서 그 입을 슬기롭게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 마음의 경영은 사람에게 있지만 말의 응답은 여호와께로부터 나온다고 하며 사람의 행위가 자기 보기에는 모두 깨끗하지만 여호와는 심령을 감찰하신다고 했다. 또한, 자기의 행위를 여호와께 맡기면 그가 경영하는 것이 이루어질 것이라 하며 마음이 교만한 자는 여호와께서 미워하시지만 인자와 진리로 인하여 죄악이 속하게 되고 여호와를 경외함으로 말미암아 악에서 떠나게 된다고 하고 사람의 행위가 여호와를 기쁘시게 하면 사람의 원수라도 그로 더불어 화목하게 한다고 하시고 공평한 저울과 접시 저울도 여호와의 지으신 것이라 하셨다. 아멘

God is the One who gives wisdom to the hearts of His children and makes their mouths wise. In today's text, it says that the plans of the heart are in man, but the answer of the tongue comes from the Lord. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Also, if he commits his ways to the Lord, his plans will be established. The Lord hates the proud in heart, but by lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil. When a man's ways please the Lord, even his enemies are at peace with him. Even the scales and the balances of justice are the works of the Lord. Amen.
