(Proverbs 26:27~28 정직)Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, And a flattering mouth works ruin. 하나님은 주의 자녀로 함정에서 피하게 하시며 정직하게 하신 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 미련한 자에게 영예가 적당하지 아니한 것은 여름에 눈 오는 것과 추수 때 비오는 것 같기 때문이라고 하고 까닭없는 저주는 참새가 떠도는 것과 제비가 날아가는 것 같이 이루어지지 않는다고 했다. 또한 미련한 자의 어리석은 것을 따라 대답하지 말라고 하며 미련한 자의 편에 기별하는 것은 자기 발을 베어버림과 같이 해를 받는다고 했다. 미련한 자에게 영예를 주는 것은 돌을 물매에 매는 것과 같다고 하며, 개가 토한 것을 먹는 것 같이 미련한 자는 그 미련한 것을 거듭 행한다고 했다. 게으른 자는 그 손을 그 그릇에 넣고도 입에 올리기 괴로워한다고 하며 거짓말하는 자는 자기가 해한 자를 미워한다 했다. 아멘
