(Proverbs 29:13~14 지혜) The poor man and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives light to the eyes of both. The king who judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 눈에 빛을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '자주 책망을 받으면서도 목이 곧은 사람은 갑자기 패망을 당하고 피하지 못하리라'라고 하며 의인이 많아지면 백성이 즐거워하고 악인이 권세를 잡으면 백성이 탄식한다고 했다. 또한 지혜를 사모하는 자는 아비를 즐겁게 하여도 창기와 사귀는 자는 재물을 잃어버린다고 하고 왕은 정의로 나라를 견고히 한다고 했다. 또한 악인이 범죄하는 것은 스스로 올무가 되지만 의인은 노래하고 기뻐한다고 하며 의인은 가난한 자의 사정을 알아주나 악인은 알아줄 지식이 없다고 하고 피흘리기를 좋아하는 자는 온전한 자를 미워하고 정직한 자의 생명을 찾으며 어리석은 자는 노를 드러내어도 지혜로운 자는 그것을 억제한다 했다. 주를 찬양한다.

God is the one who gives light to the eyes of His children. In today's text, it says, "A person who is often rebuked but stiff-necked will suddenly be destroyed and will not escape." When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked gain power, the people sigh. It also says that a man who seeks wisdom makes his father glad, but a man who associates with prostitutes loses his wealth, and a king strengthens his country with justice. It also says that the wicked man's sin is a snare to himself, but the righteous man sings and rejoices. The righteous man understands the circumstances of the poor, but the wicked has no knowledge to understand. The bloodthirsty hate the blameless and seek the life of the upright. A foolish man shows his anger, but a wise man restrains it. Praise the Lord.
