(Ecclesiastes 8:15 얼굴) So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 희락을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '누가 지혜자와 같으며 누가 사물의 이치를 아는 자이냐'하면서 지혜는 그의 얼굴에 광채가 나게 하고 그의 얼굴의 사나운 것이 변한다고 했다. 또한 왕 앞에서 물러가기를 급하게 하지 말라고 하며 왕의 말은 권능이 있다고 했다. 또한 명령을 지키는 자는 불행을 알지 못한다고 하고 지혜자의 마음은 판단을 분변한다고 하며, 바람을 주장하여 움직이게 할 자도 없고 전쟁할 때 모면하는 사람도 없고, 악한 일에 대한 징벌이 속히 실행되지 아니하기 때문에 사람들이 악을 행하는데 담대하다 했다. 주를 찬양한다.
