지리교육을 통해 하나님의 뜻과 진리를 발견하게 하소서
 
온 세계를 지역적, 지리적으로 다양하고 특색 있게 창조하신 하나님, 하나님의 창조섭리를 찬양합니다.
 
특별히 지리교과를 통해 지구의 표면에 대해 이해하고, 하나님의 섭리를 발견할 수 있게 하심에 감사를 드립니다.
 
또한 지리교과를 통해 하나님이 창조하신 땅 안에서 벌어지는 인간과 자연, 사회의 다양한 현상들을 바르게 이해함으로 우리나라는 물론 세계에 선하게 기여하는 사람들이 풍성히 길러지게 하옵소서.
 
특별히 지리에 대한 하나님의 뜻을 제대로 알고, 하나님 나라를 이루어가기를 원합니다.
 
지리교과가 우주와 지구를 만드신 하나님이 지리교과에 대한 주권을 가지신 분임을 바르게 제시하고, 하나님의 뜻 안에서 지리교과의 다양한 영역은 물론 교육 과정이 개발되게 하옵소서.
 
또한 지리교과를 통해 우리나라와 세계를 아끼고 사랑하게 되며, 자연과 인간의 관계를 건강하게 만들고, 인류가 당면한 여러 문제들을 바르게 해결하는 성숙한 시민이 길러지기를 원합니다.
 
지리교과는 다양한 교과와 학문들과의 협력이 중요한 만큼 학문적 협력과 융합을 잘 이끌어내는 교육이 일어나게 하옵소서.
 
이를 위해 전문적인 교사들도 육성되고, 그들이 교육할 자리도 있게 하옵소서.
 
지리교과에 임하시는 하나님 나라를 소망하며 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Let us discover God’s will and truth through geography education

God, who created the entire world with regional and geographical diversity and characteristics, praise God’s providence of creation.

I especially thank you for allowing us to understand the surface of the earth and discover God’s providence through geography.

Also, let us correctly understand the various phenomena of humans, nature, and society that occur on the land that God created through geography, and let us raise many people who contribute well to our country and the world.

In particular, I want to properly understand God’s will for geography and build God’s kingdom.

Let geography correctly present that God, who created the universe and the earth, has sovereignty over geography, and let the various areas of geography as well as the curriculum be developed within God’s will.

Also, I want to raise mature citizens who cherish and love our country and the world through geography, make the relationship between nature and humans healthy, and correctly solve various problems facing humanity.

Since geography education is important for cooperation with various subjects and disciplines, please let education that leads to academic cooperation and integration take place.

For this, let professional teachers be trained and have a place for them to teach.

I pray in the name of Jesus, hoping for the kingdom of God that comes to geography education. Amen.
