(Isaiah 6:13 숯) But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down.So the holy seed shall be its stump." 하나님은 거룩한 씨를 주의 자녀를 위하 남겨주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 이사야가 웃시야 왕이 죽던 해에 주께서 높이 들린 보좌에 앉으신 것을 보았는데 스랍들이 모시고 섰으며, 그들이 날면서 서로 불러 '거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 만군의 여호와여 그의 영광이 온 땅에 충만하도다'라고 하였다. 이사야는 '내가 말하되 화로다 나여 망하게 되었도다'하며 자신은 입술이 부정한 사람인데 만군의 여호와이신 왕을 뵈었다고 하자 스랍 중 하나가 제단의 숯을 손에 가지고 날아와 그의 입에 대었다. 또한 '누가 우리를 위하여 갈꼬'라는 부름에 대하여 이사야가 '나를 보내소서'라고 대답하였다. 주의 백성에게 소망주심 감사한다.

God is the One who leaves a holy seed for His children. In today's text, Isaiah saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, with seraphim standing around it, and they were flying and calling to one another, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah said, "Woe is me! I am ruined!" and said, "I am a man of unclean lips, and I have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Then one of the seraphim flew to him with a coal in his hand from the altar and touched his mouth. Also, to the call, "Who will go for us?" Isaiah answered, "Send me." Thank you for giving hope to the Lord's people.
