(Isaiah 9:7 권세) Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 위해 주의 나라를 정의로 세우시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 전에 고통받는 자들에게는 고통이 없을 것이라고 하시며 흑암에 행하는 자들이 큰 빛을 보았다고 했다. 또한 주께서 이 나라를 형성하게 하셔서 즐거움을 더하게 하셨다고 하며 무겁게 맨 멍에를 꺾으시고 한 아이를 우리에게 주셨는데 그의 어깨와 목에 정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자, 모사, 전능하신 하나님, 영존하시는 아버지, 평강의 왕이라 할 것이라 했다. 또한 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 그 나라를 굳게 세우시고 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이룰 것이라 하셨다. 주의 백성에게 말씀을 보내심에 감사한다.
