자녀의 자존감이 건강하게 형성되게 하소서
 
우리의 아버지 되시는 하나님, 주님께서 빚으시고 만드신 이 자녀가 바른 자아상을 가지길 원하여 간구합니다.
 
이기적인 마음으로 자기만을 바라보는 것이 아니라 자신을 존중하고 사랑하는 건강한 자존감이 형성되게 하옵소서.
 
부모와의 신뢰를 바탕으로 자존감이 형성되는데, 저희가 연약하여 때로는 비교 섞인 말투로, 불신과 의심으로 자녀를 대하였음을 고백합니다.
 
용서하여 주옵소서.
 
하나님의 눈으로 서로를 바라봄으로 자녀 안에 감춰진 귀한 보물같은 강점을 찾게 하시고, 무엇보다 자녀가 자신을 사랑하며, 가끼는 자로 성장하게 하옵소서.
 
건강한 자존감이 뿌리내려 삶 속에서 난관에 부딪혔을 때에 포기하지 않고, 긍정적인 마음으로 일어나게 할 줄을 믿습니다.
 
포기하지 않고 다시 시작하는 마음, 자신을 신뢰하는 마음으로 자라나게 하옵소서.
 
또한 자신의 몸을 존중하여 함부로 몸을 상하지 않게 하며 건강하게 거절하고 극복하는 방법을 알게 하옵소서.
 
늘 우리를 격려하시는 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

May your child’s self-esteem be formed healthily

God, our Father, we pray that this child, whom you have created and shaped, may have a proper self-image.

Please help them form healthy self-esteem that respects and loves themselves, rather than looking only at themselves with a selfish mind.

Self-esteem is formed based on trust with parents, but we confess that we have been weak and sometimes treated our children with comparative language, distrust, and suspicion.

Please forgive us.

Please help us find the precious treasure-like strengths hidden within our children by looking at each other with God’s eyes, and above all, help our children grow to love and cherish themselves.

I believe that when healthy self-esteem takes root, they will not give up when they encounter difficulties in life, but will rise up with a positive mind.

Please help them grow with a heart that does not give up, but starts again, and trusts in themselves.

Also, please help them respect their own bodies, not harming them recklessly, and learn how to reject and overcome in a healthy way.

We pray in the name of Jesus who always encourages us. Amen.
