학령기 자녀에게 성실성이 형성되게 하소서
 
하나님 아버지, 초등학생인 자녀가 자신의 맡은 일에 책임을 다하는 성실한 아이로 자라나길 원합니다.
 
부모인 우리가 자녀의 성적 향상에만 관심을 두지 않게 하시고, 마땅히 초등학생 때 갖추어야 할 성실함과 책임감에 관심을 두어 결과보다 과정에 관심을 두고 칭찬하게 하옵소서.
 
때로는 결과가 만족스럽지 못하여 자녀의 노력을 생각하지 못하고 다그쳤을 때도 있었습니다.
 
저의 말로 자녀에게 열등감을 느끼게 한 것을 용서하여 주옵소서.
 
혹여나 학교에서 선생님이나 친구들에게 부정적인 비교를 당하여 자신감이 떨어지지 않게 도와주시고, 결과를 포용하고 그것을 통해 배우며, 비교가 아닌 하나님의 시선으로 자신을 바라보며 자긍심을 갖게 하옵소서.
 
하나님을 경외함으로 사람이 보든지 보지 않든지 성실하고 정직하게 행하는 용기와 의지를 주옵소서.
 
건강한 성실함이 형성되어 성실함으로 하나님께 구하고 이웃을 위하여 기도하는 자녀로 자라나게 하옵소서.

Please help my school-age children develop sincerity

Father God, I want my elementary school children to grow up to be sincere children who take responsibility for their assigned tasks.

Please help us, as parents, not only focus on our children’s grades, but also focus on the sincerity and responsibility that elementary school students should have, and praise them for the process rather than the results.

There were times when I was not satisfied with the results and pushed my children without thinking about their efforts.

Please forgive me for making my children feel inferior with my words.

Please help them not to lose confidence due to negative comparisons from teachers or friends at school, and help them embrace the results, learn from them, and look at themselves with God’s eyes, not comparisons, and have pride.

Please give them the courage and will to fear God and act honestly and faithfully, regardless of whether people see them or not.

Please help my children grow up to be children who sincerely seek God and pray for their neighbors with healthy sincerity.
