(Isaiah 40:6~7 기운) The voice said, “Cry out!” And he said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.The grass withers, the flower fades, Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 주의 기운을 불어 살게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '너희 하나님이 이르시되 너희는 위로하라 내 백성을 위로하라'하시며 예루살렘에 '그 노역의 때가 끝났고 그 죄악이 사함을 받았느니라'하고 '사막에서 우리 하나님의 대로를 평탄하게 하라'고 했다. 또한, 모든 육체는 풀이요 그 아름다움이 들의 꽃과 같아 마르고 시들어버리나 여호와의 기운이 그 위에 불며 하나님의 영광은 영원히 설 것이라 하였다. '보라 주 여호와께서 장차 강한 자로 임하실 것이요'하며 그에게는 열방이 통의 힌방울 물과 같고 그들을 없는 것 같이 여긴다고 하고 눈을들어 천지를 창조하신 권세와 능력을 보라 하며 독수리의 힘 주시리라 했다. 아멘

God is the one who breathes His breath into His children and makes them live. In today's text, He says, "Comfort, comfort my people," and to Jerusalem, "Her labor is ended, her iniquity is forgiven," and "Make straight in the desert a highway for our God." Also, all flesh is like grass, and its beauty is like the flower of the field; it withers and fades, but the breath of the Lord blows upon it, and the glory of God will stand forever. "Behold, the Lord God will come with strength," and He says that the nations are like drops of water in a bucket and that He regards them as nothing. He says, "Lift up your eyes and see the power and might with which He created the heavens and the earth," and He gives them the strength of an eagle. Amen.
