자녀의 감정을 이해하는 부모 되게 하소서 (2)
 
언제나 우리의 필요를 채우시며 돌보시는 하나님, 오늘도 기도의 무릎으로 당신께 나아갑니다.
 
자신의 감정을 속이며 타인의 감정을 무시하는 이 시대의 문화와 죄된 본성으로 인해 부정적인 감정에 끌려갈 수밖에 없는 연약한 존재인 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주옵소서.
 
자녀들이 자신의 감정을 숨기는 것이 아니라 가정에서부터, 친구와의 대화에서부터 솔직하게 표현하고 순종할 수 있는 마음을 갖게 하옵소서.
 
그러한 자녀들의 표현을 위해 기회를 잘 파악하고 자녀들에게 격려할 수 있는 지혜를 부모들에게 주옵소서.
 
자녀들이 스스로의 마음을 표현할 때에 그러한 감정의 경험도 소중히 여겨주며 받아줄 수 있기를 원합니다.
 
또한 부적절한 행동에 대해서는 스스로 깨닫게 하여 주셔서 그 행동의 의미와 감정을 정직하게 표현하는데 장애가 되는 행동을 깨달을 수 있는 지혜를 부어 주옵소서.
 
자녀가 감정을 추스르며 회복하는 길을 찾아나갈 때에 함께해 주시고, 자녀의 심령이 하나님의 사랑안에서 평안과 기쁨으로 충만하여 지는 은혜를 허락하여 주옵소서.
 
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Let us be parents who understand our children’s emotions (2)

God, who always provides and cares for our needs, today we come to you on our knees in prayer.

Please have pity on us, who are weak beings who cannot help but be dragged into negative emotions due to the culture of this era that deceives our own emotions and ignores the emotions of others, and our sinful nature.

Please let our children not hide their emotions, but have the heart to honestly express and obey them, starting from home and in conversations with friends.

Please give parents the wisdom to recognize opportunities for their children to express themselves and encourage them.

I want to cherish and accept the experience of such emotions when my children express their own feelings.

Also, please help them realize their own inappropriate behaviors and give them the wisdom to realize the meaning of those actions and the behaviors that hinder them from honestly expressing their emotions.

Please be with them as they find a way to overcome their emotions and recover, and grant them the grace to fill their hearts with peace and joy in God’s love.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
