여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본임을 알게 하소서
 
여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본이라고 하신 하나님, 지금까지 세상의 지식과 실력을 쌓는 것, 인기와 명예를 얻는 것에 관심을 가지고 있었던 우리를 돌아봅니다.
 
예수님을 믿는다고 하면서도 어느 한쪽에서는 자녀에 대한 왜곡된 기대감이 있었습니다.
 
하나님을 믿는 신앙과 자녀의 학업은 관계가 없다고 생각한 적도 많았습니다.
 
그러나 말씀에 분명히 '여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본'이라고 기록되어 있음을 봅니다.
 
자녀의 삶에 무엇보다 하나님을 경외하고 예배하는 것이 제1 우선순위가 되어야 함을 잊지 않게 하옵소서.
 
아이이신 여호와 하나님을 경외하는 자녀로 양육하기를 힘쓰는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
신앙은 자녀의 삶의 뿌리가 되고, 태도를 결정하는 것이기에 무엇보다 여호와 경외의 신앙이 자녀에게 뿌리 내리게 하옵소서.
 
흔들리지 않는 뿌리를 가진 자녀가 건강한 생각과 태도로 학업에 임하고, 학업을 통하여 진리 되신 하나님을 깊게 알아가는 은혜를 누리게 하옵소서.

Let us know that the fear of the Lord is the foundation of knowledge

God, who said that the fear of the Lord is the foundation of knowledge, let us look back on ourselves who have been interested in accumulating worldly knowledge and skills, and gaining popularity and fame.

Even though we say that we believe in Jesus, we have had distorted expectations about our children.

There have been many times when we thought that faith in God and our children’s studies were unrelated.

However, we see that the Word clearly states that ‘the fear of the Lord is the foundation of knowledge.’

Please do not forget that fearing and worshiping God should be the first priority in our children’s lives.

Please let us be parents who strive to raise our children to fear the Lord God, who is our child.

Because faith becomes the root of our children’s lives and determines their attitudes, please let the faith of fearing the Lord take root in our children above all else.

Please let our children, who have unshakable roots, approach their studies with healthy thoughts and attitudes, and enjoy the grace of deeply learning about the truth of God through their studies.
