(Lamentations 5:21~22 날) Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old, Unless You have utterly rejected us, And are very angry with us! 하나님은 주의 자녀의 날을 새롭게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '여호와여 우리가 당한 것을 기억하시고 우리가 받은 치욕을 살펴보옵소서'라고 하며 그들의 기업이 외인에게, 그들의 집들도 이방인에게 돌아갔다고 했다. 또한 그들이 아버지 없는 고아와 같고 그들 어머니는 과부와 같다고 하시며 그들이 그들을 쫓는 자들로 인하여 그 목이 눌렸으니 기진하여 쉴 수가 없다고 하였다. 그들 조상이 범죄하고 광야에는 칼이 있으므로 죽기를 무릅써야 양식을 얻기 때문에 굶주림의 열기로 아궁이가 검게 되었다고 하고 지도자들이 그들의 손에 매달리고 청년들이 다시 노래하지 못한다고 하며 주께로 그들이 돌아가 그들의 날을 새롭게 하시길 구했다. 아멘

God is the One who renews the days of His children. In today's text, He says, "Remember, Lord, what has happened to us; consider our disgrace!" He says their inheritance has been given to strangers, their homes to foreigners. He also says they are like fatherless orphans, their mothers like widows, their necks crushed by those who persecute them, they are exhausted and restless. Their ancestors have sinned, the sword is in the wilderness, and bread is only obtained by risking death, so the ovens are blackened with the heat of hunger. Leaders are hung by their hands, and young men no longer sing. He prays for them to return to the Lord and renew their days. Amen.
