Indeed I have never defiled myself from my youth till now; I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.” 하나님은 주의 자녀로 거룩하게 지켜주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 에스겔에게 토판을 가져다가 한 성읍 예루살렘을 그 위에 그리고 그 성읍을 에워싸고 그것을 향해 사다리를 세우고 흙으로 언덕을 쌓고 진을 치고 공성퇴를 둘러 세우고 철판을 가져다 에스겔과 성읍 사이에 철벽을 철판으로 세우고 이것이 이스라엘의 징조가 될 것이라 하셨다. 또 에스겔에게 그 날 수가 차거든 오른쪽으로 유다 족속의 죄악을 담당하여라고 하시며 사십일로 정하셨다고 했다. 또한 이스라엘의 양식을 끊으리라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who keeps His children holy. In today's passage, the Lord tells Ezekiel to bring clay tablets and draw a city, Jerusalem, on them. He then encircles the city, erects ladders against it, builds a mound of earth, pitches camp, and surrounds it with battering rams. He also tells Ezekiel to bring iron plates and build an iron wall between him and the city. This will be a sign to Israel. He also tells Ezekiel that when the days are fulfilled, he will bear the iniquity of the house of Judah on the right hand side, setting it at forty days. He also says that he will cut off Israel's food supply. Amen.
