교과목에 대한 건강한 태도를 갖게 하소서
 
다양한 과목과 선생님들을 통하여 자녀들을 교육하시는 하나님 감사합니다.
 
개개인의 선생님에 따라 다양한 방법과 재능으로 학생들을 대하고 가르침에도 불구하고, 자녀들이 자신의 성향과 흥미에 맞게 과목을 선별적으로 공부하려는 경향이 많이 있습니다.
 
모든 과목 가운데서 자녀가 살아계신 하나님을 만나기를 원합니다.
 
더 이상, 자신이 좋아하는 선생님이나 좋아하는 과목에만 치우쳐 그것만 공부하는 학업의 편식 현상이 사라지게 하옵소서.
 
다양한 과목 속에 역사하시는 하나님을 발견하기 위해, 선호하지 않는 과목이나 선생님이라 할지라도 마음과 귀를 열고, 수업에 임하는 자녀가 되게 하옵소서.
 
부모 또한 자녀를 대할 때마다 자녀의 부족한 과목을 보게 하시고, 단순히 학원이나 보충 학습으로만 부족한 과목을 채우려하기 보다 자녀에게 맞는 학습 방법으로 학습의 동기를 부여하고, 부족한 과목을 접할 수 있도록 돕게 하옵소서.
 
그리하여 재능이 없다고, 재미없다고 포기하였던 과목들을 통해 자녀의 발견하지 못하였던 장점과 재능이 발견되게 하옵소서.

Please help us develop healthy attitudes toward our subjects.

God, we thank you for educating our children through a variety of subjects and teachers.

Despite the diverse methods and talents of each teacher, many children tend to selectively study subjects that best suit their individual interests and preferences.

I pray that my children will encounter the living God in all their subjects.

Please end the practice of academic pickiness, where children focus solely on their favorite teachers or subjects.

Let us open our hearts and ears to the lessons we take, even to subjects or teachers we don't prefer, in order to discover God at work in various subjects.

Please help parents see their children's weaknesses every time they interact with them. Rather than simply trying to fill in their weaknesses through private academies or supplementary lessons, please help them find learning methods that are right for them and provide them with opportunities to explore these areas.

Thus, may our children discover their undiscovered strengths and talents through subjects they once dismissed as lacking talent or uninteresting.
