공존하는 세상을 가르치는 교육이 되게 하소서
 
진정한 사랑이 무엇인지 저희들에게 가르쳐 주신 하나님, 사랑은 나의 행복보다는 남이 행복할 수 있도록 스스로 희생도 감수하는 것이라 말씀하셨는데, 저희들은 저희들의 행복을 위해서 남을 희생시킬 때가 많았습니다.
 
자녀들을 교육하면서도 베푸는 사람이기보다는 손해 보지 않는 사람이 되기를 원했던 것은 아닌지 되돌아봅니다.
 
하나님, 우리들의 교육에 주님의 자비를 베풀어 주옵소서.
 
나만 좋으면 그만이라는 식의 논리를 거부하고 다른 사람들과 더불어서 하나님 나라를 함께 만들어, 다음세대를 가르칠 수 있도록 하옵소서.
 
뿐만 아니라 교회와 가정의 어른들이 자녀들에게 그런 삶의 좋은 모델이 되게 하옵소서.
 
교회와 기독학부모의 가정 그리고 학교에서 이웃과 더불어 살아가는 훈련과 가르침이 지금보다 더해질 수 있도록 도와주시고, 특별히 자녀들이 가장 많은 시간을 보내는 학교에서 다른 사람들과 평화를 이루며 공존하는 세상을 만들어 나가는 법을 터득할 수 있게 하옵소서.

May our education teach us a world of coexistence.

God, you taught us what true love is. You said that love is not about our own happiness, but about sacrificing ourselves for the happiness of others. Yet, we have often sacrificed others for our own happiness.

As we educate our children, I reflect on whether we have been more concerned with not losing than with being generous.

God, grant us Your mercy in our education.

Please help us reject the logic of "I'm all that matters," and instead, help us build the kingdom of God together with others, educating the next generation.

Furthermore, may the adults in our churches and homes be good models of such a life for our children.

Please help us to strengthen the training and teachings of living in harmony with our neighbors in our churches, Christian parents' homes, and schools. Especially in schools, where children spend the most time, may they learn how to create a world of peace and coexistence with others.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
