God is the One who engraves His image on the hearts of His children. In today's text, the Lord brought Ezekiel into the sanctuary and measured the walls of the gate, each six cubits thick on one side and each other. The width of the gate was ten cubits. The wall on one side of the gate was five cubits wide and the wall on the other side was five cubits wide. He measured the sanctuary, forty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. The wall of the inner sanctuary was two cubits thick, the gate six cubits wide, and the walls of the gate seven cubits wide. The walls of the temple were six cubits thick, with side rooms four cubits high on all sides, three stories high, each side room above the other. The height of the three sides of the temple was six cubits, the height of the large yard, or reed, was six cubits. The wall outside the side rooms was five cubits thick. He carved cherubim on the walls above the gate all around. Amen.
