Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 하나님은 주의 자녀로 비밀한 것을 깨닫게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 네 민족을 호위하는 큰 군주 미가엘이 일어날 것이며 개국 이래 없던 환난이 임할 것이며 그 백성 중 책에 기록된 모든 자가 구원을 받을 것이라 했다. 또한 땅의 티끌 가운데서 자는 자 중에 많은 사람이 깨어나 영생을 받을 자도 있고 수치를 받을 자도 있으며 많은 사람을 옳은 데로 돌아오게 한 자는 별과 같이 영원히 빛날 것이라 하시고 다니엘에게 마지막까지 그 말을 간수하라고 했다. 많은 사람이 연단을 받아 스스로 정결하게 하며 희게 할 것이며 악한 사람은 악을 행할 것이고 오직 지혜있는 자는 깨달을 것이라 했다. 주의 이름을 찬양한다.
