(Hosea 5:13 고난) “When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 상처를 치료하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '제사장들아 들으라'하시며 그들에게 심판이 있으며 미스바에 대하여 올무가 되며 다볼 위에 친 그물이 되었다 하시고, 에브라임이 음행하였고 이스라엘이 더 더러워졌다고 했다. 또한 그들의 행위로 인하여 하나님께로 돌아가지 못하게 되었다고 하고 음란한 마음이 그 속에 있어 하나님을 알지 못한다고 하며 이스라엘의 교만의 죄로 인해 이스라엘과 유다가 에브라임과 함께 넘어질 것이라 했다. 또한 유다 지도자들은 경계표를 옮기는 자 같다고 하고 주의 진노를 물같이 쏟을 것이라 하시며, 에브라임이 그 죄를 뉘우치고 고난받을 때 주를 간절히 찾겠다 했다. 아멘

God is the one who heals the wounds of His children. In today's text, He says, "Hear, O priests," and that judgment is upon them, a snare to Mizpah and a net spread over Tabor. He also says that Ephraim has committed adultery, and Israel has become even more defiled. He also says that because of their actions, they cannot return to God, and that their hearts are filled with adultery, and they do not know God. He also says that because of Israel's sin of pride, Israel and Judah will fall along with Ephraim. He also says that Judah's leaders are like those who remove boundary stones, and that the Lord's wrath will be poured out like water. He also says that Ephraim will repent of its sins and earnestly seek the Lord when it is in distress. Amen.
