방학 중 자기 개발의 기회를 선용하게 하소서
 
우리에게 쉼의 시간을 주시어 자기 개발을 할 수 있는 기회를 주시는 하나님 감사합니다.
 
방학과 같은 자유로운 시간이 주어질 때, 자녀가 자기 개발을 위해 좋은 취미를 계획하지 않으면, 무의미하게 시간을 허비하거나 남용할 때가 많음을 고백합니다.
 
자녀가 쉼의 시간에 자신만의 다양한 생각을 펼칠 수 있는 활동들을 할 수 있도록 도와주옵소서.
 
특별히, 방학이 자녀에게 맞는 취미 생활로 학업의 스트레스를 풀 수 있는 계기가 되며, 학업으로 미루어 놓았던 재능을 발견하는 기회가 되기를 소망합니다.
 
좋은 책을 읽으며, 다양한 장소를 방문하며, 새로운 것을 보고, 듣고, 읽고, 만지는 기회들을 갖게 하여 주시어서 학교 너머의 사회에서 새로운 것들을 배울 수 있는 좋은 시간이 되게 하여 주옵소서.
 
주님, 자녀가 방학 시간을 통하여 하고 싶었던 많은 일들을 하되, 눈앞의 즐거움만을 쫓는 시간이 되지 않도록 도와주옵소서.
 
이 시간들을 통해, 자신에 대해 잘 이해하고 재능을 개발, 훈련하여 하나님의 영광을 위하여 사용할 수 있게 도와주옵소서.

Help us make the most of our vacations for self-development.

Thank you, God, for giving us time to rest and develop ourselves.

When children are given free time like vacations, if they don't plan good hobbies for their own development, they often waste or abuse their time.

Please help my children engage in activities that allow them to develop their own diverse thoughts during their vacations.

In particular, I pray that vacations will be an opportunity for my children to relieve the stress of schoolwork through hobbies that are right for them and to discover talents that have been put off by their studies.

Please give them opportunities to read good books, visit diverse places, and see, hear, read, and touch new things. May this be a valuable time for them to learn new things about society beyond school.

Lord, help my children to do all the things they want to do during vacations, but not to become consumed by the pursuit of immediate pleasures.

Through these times, please help us understand ourselves better and develop and train our talents so that we can use them for the glory of God.
