And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 성하게 하시며 안식일의 주인 되시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 안식일에 제자들이 밀을 잘라 먹는것을 보고 바리새인들이 예수께 그들이 하지 못할 일을 한다고 하자 예수께서 다윗이 자기와 그 함께 한 자들이 시장할 때 한 일을 읽지 못하였느냐 하며 안식일에 제사장들이 성전 안에서 안식을 범해도 죄가 없다 하셨다. 한편 손마른 사람에 대해 안식일에 양 한 마리가 구덩이에 빠지면 끌어 내지 않느냐 하며 안식일에 선을 행하는 것이 옳다 하시고 그 사람에게 '손을 내밀라' 하시어 내밀매 손이 회복되어 성하게 되었다. 예수께서 그들의 병을 다 고치시고 눈 멀고 말 못하는 사람을 고쳐주셨다. 아멘

God makes His children holy and is Lord of the Sabbath. In today's passage, when the Pharisees saw His disciples cutting grain and eating it on the Sabbath, they asked Jesus, "Do you think they are doing something they should not do?" Jesus replied, "Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?" He then said, "Even if the priests in the temple defile the Sabbath, they are not guilty of sin." Regarding the man with the withered hand, He said, "If a sheep falls into a pit on the Sabbath, don't you lift it out?" He then said, "It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." He then told the man, "Stretch out your hand." When he did, his hand was restored and made whole. Jesus healed all their diseases, including the blind and the mute. Amen.
