중도탈락 학생을 기억하소서
 
우리에게 교육의 터전인 학교를 주시고, 학교라는 울타리에서 다양한 배움과 만남을 통해 삶을 풍성하게 하는 축복을 주시는 하나님, 그러나 해마다 학교생활에 적응하지 못한 채 중도 탈락하는 학생들이 늘어나고 있습니다.
 
스스로 꿈과 비전을 향한 선택으로 학교를 떠나기도 하지만, 누군가는 학업의 무게를 견디지 못하고, 누군가는 친구들과의 관계에 적응하지 못하고, 혹은 누군가는 잘못된 유혹의 손길에 휩쓸려 학교를 떠나갑니다.
 
그동안 내 자녀에만 관심을 갖느라 우리의 잃어버린 아이들의 삶에 무관했던 것을 용서해 주옵소서.
 
더 이상 학교를 떠나 방황하는 아이들이 생기지 않기를 소원합니다.
 
모든 하나님의 자녀들이 의미있고 생기 있는 학교생활을 할 수 있도록 도와주옵소서.
 
혹여 학교를 떠나 막막한 삶의 현실과 마주한 아이들이 있다면 그들을 지켜주시고, 그들이 잘못된 길로 가지 않도록 굽어 살피소서.

Remember the students who drop out.

God, you gave us schools, the foundation of education, and within the walls of school, you bless us with the enriching lives of diverse learning and encounters. However, each year, an increasing number of students drop out, unable to adapt to school life.

Some leave school because they choose to pursue their dreams and visions, but others leave because they cannot bear the weight of academics, others cannot adjust to relationships with friends, and still others are swept away by the wrong temptations.

Forgive us for focusing solely on our own children and neglecting the lives of our lost children.

I pray that no more children will leave school and wander.

Please help all of God's children to have meaningful and vibrant school lives.

If any children have left school and are facing the daunting realities of life, please protect them and watch over them so they do not go down the wrong path.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
